Metropolis, Illinois

I took a 13 day vacation to drive across the country and visit all the major attractions that I never found the time to see. From Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, The Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, The Country Music Hall of Fame, and many more. And somewhere, in between these major attractions was Metropolis, Illinois. It’s a small town with a super heart. They have fully leaned in to their name and have fully dressed the town to look a lot like what a small town version of Metropolis would look like, complete with the Daily Bugle and a giant Superman statue in front of City Hall. If you ever find yourself close enough, stop by!
